Foundation
It all started with a summer job...
Speaker, author, and entrepreneur, Lisa Diggs, is founder of The Catalyst Company. Her fascination with business productivity began while getting a B.A. in Communications from Michigan State. During summers she worked in an entry level capacity for an insurance company where her father was an executive. After weeks of having lunch with the front-liners and dinner with the boss, she realized there was so much each didn't know about the other. That simple realization led her to a career of helping organizations tap into the best their teams have to offer at every level. Armed with a Master's Degree in Adult Education and Performance Technology, and after years of working for large corporations in retail, entertainment, and telecommunications, Lisa decided to start her own company to focus on building strong and productive organizations. The Greater Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners has honored her with their Innovator Award, Crain’s Detroit Business named her one of their Women to Watch, and WWJ Radio and Lawrence Technological University chose her as one of their Leader & Innovator honorees. Lisa has also been awarded the President’s Call to Service Award from the Obama administration for volunteering more than 4,000 hours of service to the betterment of her community.
